Good as it looks, we built the SR250 to ride. Its 239 cc, SOHC, 4-stroke engine puts out plenty of power for highway riding, commuting to work or just putting around town. Docile yet responsive, it goes hundreds of kilometers on a single tank of fuel.
Think of it as a no-frills motorcycle with something for everyone. Sensible riders will appreciate the economy and reliability of its single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. New riders will appreciate its electric starter and low seat. And everyone will love its affordable price and great looks.

The air-cooled, 239 cc, SOHC, 4-stoke engine pumps out plenty of responsive torque and is equipped with a special gear-driven counterbalancer for smooth running. Push-button electric starting and electronic ignition make it as easy to ride as it is to maintain. A lightweight and compact steel tube frame is the key to the SR250's slim design and low seat height. The simple yet efficient single downtube design gives great low-speed manoeuvrability and reliable handling.
